Lists and reports give us a sense of control. When we have all the data in front of us, we feel empowered. We know what is going on, whether there are inconsistencies, outstanding items, or improvements required. We appreciate reports that we can rely on for making decisions or taking action.
The “Purchase Request Report” in SAP Business One has always been more than just showing data. It allows users to directly create Purchase Quotations or Purchase Orders for selected items, but this does not end here. Two new columns, “G/L Account” and “G/L Account Name” are added to the report displaying the respective data:
The “G/L Account” column is editable, allowing you to update account information directly in the Purchase Request Report. In addition, the values in these new columns will be updated every time you update values such as vendor code or warehouse according to the rules defined in the account determination. When creating Purchase Orders from within the report the updated information is retrieved from the report and not from the original Purchase Request.
Available in Web Client for SAP Business One 10.0, and SAP Business One 10.0 version for SAP HANA. Please get in touch if you would like to upgrade to version 10.0.
