Managing inventory is complicated, right? Storage, counting, receiving, delivering, expiration dates, insurance, packaging, etc. Some of you may manage multiple warehouses in different locations, others probably also have bins in their warehouses. And the items? At least some of them are managed by serial or batch numbers.
Yes, managing inventory is complicated, but with the Web Client for SAP Business One it can be more efficient. When creating sales documents (sales orders, deliveries, A/R reserve invoices, or A/R invoices) for items managed by serial or batch numbers, selecting the specific numbers is straightforward:
Clicking the selection icon opens the list of available serial or batch numbers for the given item. The same pattern is applied to bin location selection in deliveries and A/R invoices. After selecting the serial/batch numbers and/or relevant bin locations, these values are displayed in the “Batch, Serial Numbers and Bin Locations” columns respectively:
When there is not enough space to display all the selected values, a hyperlink indicating the number of additional values is shown – in the above example it says, “5 more”. Clicking the hyperlink shows the complete list without leaving the document:
Available in Web Client for SAP Business One 10.0, and SAP Business One 10.0 version for SAP HANA. Please get in touch if you would like to upgrade to version 10.0.
