We look up to successful businesspeople, we read the books they wrote, try to embrace their golden tips, and avoid the mistakes they admit having done. Many of us took business-related courses in college or university, investing great resources in setting strategy, market research, branding, risk assessment, etc. And when it comes to the day-to-day work, we need to translate our engagements with prospects, customers, and vendors into transactions. The Business Partner (BP) Master Data record has become a key pillar in managing ongoing business activity. The BP Master Data contains the relevant information, and reviewing the data might trigger the need to take action. For that purpose, the Web Client for SAP Business One introduces the “Create” option in the main menu in Business Partner Master Data:

The respective document types are listed depending on the business partner type (lead/customer/vendor) and user authorisations. When you choose to initiate the creation of a certain document, it will show up in the “Create” drop-down, with the information of the given business partner populated in the form. For example, clicking the “Incoming Payment” option, opens the following Incoming Payment document, with the customer details in the header and the list of unpaid transactions:
